Sell what you know

So you’ve taken my advice and you’ve managed to choose a product that you actually know something about; well done.  You’d be surprised at the amount of affiliate marketing “so-called” professionals who don’t know a single thing about what they’re selling…

Let’s just say for example that you know something about children.  You may have some children, or you may have had some children.  You can pretty much market anything that is used by children or for children.  You have all purchased baby gear and fallen prey to the dreadful Christmas toy marketing campaigns that your kids go on and on and on about until Christmas eve.  Well now it’s your turn, you can turn that knowledge into money by writing a blog and selling other people’s stuff.  Why not start by writing about your experiences with children and that way you can slip in a few SEO keywords every now and then, and a few affiliate links, and before you know it you’re making money hand over fist.

Well maybe not at first, but in time, if you blog regularly you’ll soon see the money coming in.  Now it needn’t be children of course, you might be an expert on horses, or PC repairs, or motor vehicles.  Have a good think about it if you haven’t already, and you’ll be sure to come up with something.
