Merry Christmas with Blogging
It’s not too late to start a blog you know. And if you get one started now you can be making a lot of money from it by this time next year. You should really read my post on monetising your blog if you want to really make a go of it. But here are a few basics…
First of all you need to get a blog. Now for this, if you’re a beginner, you don’t even need to go to a particular place and buy a domain, then get hosting, then do all that site builder and installing WordPress etc. No, all you need to do to begin with is get a free wordpress blog on their main wordpress network. When you’ve got the free blog have some fun with it and don’t think too much about making money.
I often find that writing a blog tends to draw you naturally into selling something. Your writing in itself is selling an idea or an philosophy isn’t it? After all, no-one in the world of the literate can write anything without it reflecting their opinions and ideals can they? So when you’ve been writing for a while you will find that you have already established trends on your website without you even knowing it. These trends will be why people come to visit you, and pretty soon they will end up finding you when they search for something else; that is if you write your blog often enough. This is where you can refer to the afore mentioned article i wrote on monetising your blog, and you’ll soon begin to see what to do next.
