Link Campaign – The Beginning

If you are serious about getting traffic to your website or blog you are going to need some links, and they will need to be quality links too.  This is quite an easy task, although it can be quite time consuming…

To begin with, there are a few websites out there who offer to find links for you.  These are not bad sites to register with and you can soon build quite a host of links from your page to other similar ones on the net.  This can only be good news for your website if all these links give you one back!

The best websites to go to first are the ones that have a high page ranking of course.  If you can get one of these sites to link to yours then you’re well on your way to a bit of success.  However, sadly some people only trade links with other people who have lots of traffic and this is a shame and not, in my opinion, how business should be done.  I think that we owe it to eachother to help getting traffic because you never know when you might need a favour in the future!

However, before you go off looking for links it’s important to consider what they say.  This is linked with the blog posts i’ve written on keywords in many respects, simply because if you have someone linking from their website to a page on your site you will need their link to contain keywords that appear on your site; this way it makes much more sense to Google and the other  big search engines.
