Blogging Basics

Here we have a little invitation for you to get blogging.  Blogging will go down in history as an amazing advertsising tool.  It hasn’t taken people long to understand the potential to make money from a blog either…

If this is what you want to do, you need to know what you want to sell to people.  Not you sell directly of course, but more where you want to send people who come looking for things on the internet.  For example you might say that you want to sell snow to the Eskimos.  Impossible i know, but there is probably a website out there that tries to do it!  It’s not serious of course but the point remains that it is a definite choice.

Once you know what you want to sell to who, then you go and and start blogging about things that have something to do with the thing you’re selling or who you’re selling it to.  This way the people who find your blog are going to be the right ones (or to use an SEO term: you’ll get the right traffic).  So when you have started to develop the right traffic, you can finally begin to target particular sales.

You do this by finding someone else who sells the product you want to sell, and you sell it for them.  That simple!  However, they have to have an affiliate system in place so that they can pay you when you sell their stuff for them.  Yes, that’s right, you sell their stuff and they pay you for helping out.  Everyone’s a winner.
